This webinar, organized under the scope of the REPARES project, had the presence of experts on antibiotic resistance in the environment with interests in the One-Health continuum, who discussed the implications of the multiple intersections between environment, animals, and humans and the consequences in terms of antibiotic resistance dissemination. The webinar started with a short presentation of the REPARES project by the coordinator Prof. Jan Bartáček, followed by a talk by Prof. Célia Manaia. After that, a dynamic round table with Professors Manuela Caniça, Patrícia Poeta, Tanel Tenson and Gianluca Corno discussed the One-Health in antibiotic resistance. The round table was moderated by Prof. Isabel Henriques and Dr. Ivone Vaz Moreira. After a short break, the webinar ended with a great talk by Professor William Gaze.
The audience was diverse, with the participation of students (degree, master and Ph.D.), researchers, professors, and some representatives of stakeholders. In total 84 participants were from 14 different countries, including some non-EU countries.
